How do you install a tank? I know!

Graf’s Platin® flat rainwater tank

Until now the process of installing an underground rainwater harvesting system in small to medium-sized gardens has been relatively laborious. Often the garden has been lovingly tendered. Who would want to take an excavator into such a garden and dig a pit? People usually avoid the cost of installing professional a rainwater harvesting system and use water butts instead but this isn’t really a very good alternative.

But all gardens will have space for the Graf Platin flat rainwater tank. The size of rainwater tank explains why. Measuring just 210 x 125 cm and with a height to the tank shoulder of just 70 cm, the tank has a capacity of 1500 litres. The low tank height allows it to be installed without slope angles and therefore in a very small pit. Since the tank weighs in at just 80 kg, it’s easy for two people to complete installation in a morning.

The flat rain tank won’t drain your purse either.

Once the rainwater tank has been fitted, it is virtually invisible. The tank cover which can be telescoped and tilted in a continuously variable manner fits discreetly into the lawn. The water needed for post or area sprinklers can be easily drawn from the socket like electricity. The pump which can be integrated in the tank switches on and off automatically. A water connection box, which can either be integrated in the tank lid or positioned anywhere in the garden, is available for connecting with standard hose systems.

The Platin flat tank can be driven over (by cars) and is groundwater stable. All the high-quality filter technology is housed in the generously sized tank dome (65 cm in diameter). Special filter systems ensure outstanding water quality for watering your garden. Domestic appliances, such as toilets or washing machines, can also be supplied, allowing you to cut your drinking water intake by up to 50% and save money too. The manufacturer documents his faith in the high quality of the Platin flat tank by providing a 15-year guarantee.
