Otto Graf GmbH awarded “Mittelstandspreis”
A German prize for medium-sized enterprises
The competition “Grand Prize for Medium-sized Enterprises” organised by Oskar Patzelt Foundation is the most important competition for German medium-sized enterprises. The criteria include overall development, safety at workplaces, innovation, commitment and marketing.
The Otto Graf GmbH came out on top against the strong competition from 3,366 companies and figures among the 23 finalists.
“The inclusion among the finalists of the competition is great honour – not only for me, but primarily for our highly motivated team. Without the commitment of the employees, our company’s success would be simply unthinkable.”, said Otto P. Graf, the Managing Director of Graf.
Petra Tröger, board member of Oskar Patzelt Foundation, commented on the selection: "The Otto Graf GmbH has fulfilled the five criteria of the competition very well. The jury was unanimous that the company very much deserves the distinction as a finalist. Company’s history, innovation, growth and regional commitment are exemplary. This serves as an example for other medium-sized enterprises."
For over 45 years, the brand Graf has stood for innovation in the area of plastic containers. The business units of Otto Graf GmbH work in the field of water management: rainwater harvesting, stormwater infiltration technique as well as fully biological small wastewater treatment plants.
