Graf Founds Subsidiary in Spain

This year, Otto Graf GmbH has successfully continued the positive business development of the last few years. The specialist in rainwater harvesting has successfully opened up markets in Europe as a whole, in addition to the German market, or has continued to expand existing distribution arrangements. The company’s export share has doubled over the last year compared to 2005.

The Europe-wide success of the Graf product range is due in particular to the company’s extensive experience in the rainwater harvesting market. This may just be the foundation stone for the almost perfect orientation of the range and, thus, also the success of the newly opened markets.

“To exploit our potential fully in important key countries, it is partly necessary to be represented by our own sales team.”, according to Managing Director Otto P. Graf. Therefore, Graf will shortly found its own company in Spain, Graf Ibérica Tecnología del Plástico SL. The company’s head office will be in Girona, near Barcelona.

The new subsidiary will be presented for the first time at the Construmat trade fair. Spain’s leading trade fair for the building sector tooks place in Barcelona from 14th to 19th May. The Graf product range was presented to the broad public for the first time here. All expectations of the trade fair appearance were far exceeded.

The managing director of Graf Iberica is Mr Sergi Arribas Torras. The 27-year-old already has a lot of experience in sales. Graf wishes Mr Torras a successful start in handling the Spanish market.
