GRAF continues to register double-figure growth despite

Consistent focus on ecological products ensures prolonged success.

Graf, the Teningen-based manufacturer of water management products, can look back over an impressive and successful past. Graf's turnover has grown by double figures for the twelfth year in a row. In 2009 the company's turnover was €65 million, an increase of 13%, almost of half of which originated from demand outside Germany. Managing Director Otto P. Graf believes this success can be put down to the company's consistent focus and the courage to not deviate from its chosen path and to consistently pursue its goals in a time of crisis.

But Otto Graf GmbH does more than just manufacture green goods. The whole company ethos is about sustainability: 70% of processed raw materials are waste products, state-of-the-art production facilities mean that the energy consumed to manufacture the plastic products is minimised. Thanks to heat recovery, the company's own buildings are heated using the waste heat of its machines and the production facilities' closed cooling circuits mean that water consumption is falling all the time.

Of course the product is the focus of this sustainability: 98% of Graf's product range is concerned with environmental protection. For example by harvesting rainwater Graf customers around the world have to date saved 260 billion litres of valuable drinking water and this figure grows by 100 million litres a day. Graf's extensive range of rainwater harvesting products covers the individual needs of customers like no other. Patented product concepts allow 85% of the transport volume to be cut and for Graf tanks to be easily exported anywhere in the world. Markets such as Australia can be served from Teningen. The company is also successfully placed for the growth markets of rainwater infiltration and wastewater treatment systems for the 100% biological disposal of wastewater.

Graf firmly believes that the company will continue to enjoy positive growth. Over the last four years, it has invested several million euros in expanding production and logistics capacity to prepare the company for the growth it expects over the next five years.
