Each day, GRAF customers all over the world save more than 140 million litres* of drinking water. Only one percent of the water available on earth can be used directly for drinking water. GRAF products cut the drinking water consumption of private households by up to 50% and that of commercial customers by up to 85%.
Cut CO2 emissions. The unique manufacturing procedure used for the GRAF Carat underground tank is the world’s most efficient manufacturing process for underground tanks. GRAF also uses the waste heat given off by the machines during the production process to heat its buildings.
Maintain the balance of the water cycle. Periods of drought followed by heavy rain are an increasingly common phenomenon. As more and more land is built on, hard surfaces mean that rainwater has nowhere to run off to, which results in flooding. At the same time, this lowers the level of groundwater and disturbs the natural water cycle.
Avoid waste as a matter of course. GRAF is focusing research into the use of secondary raw materials. All products manufactured by GRAF can be fully recycled and many are manufactured using a high proportion of recycled raw materials. All waste generated during production is reused.
